Sprout Season

The greenhouse is bursting at the seams: okra, peppers and padrons, bronze fennel, globe amaranth, marigolds, eucalyptus buds.

Farmer Casie, lists her favourite varieties of lettuce that have been seeded inside the greenhouse:

Flashy Trout Back, Bambi, Jericho, Sylvester

This is just the start of vegetable season on the farm. Once ready, the sprouts will be transferred out to the fields to mature and pick up the flavour of our land.
