This May, the cool currents of El Nino brought life and spirit to our hills. We thought it was only fitting to serve the freshest green vegetables at our SVS Wine Club member pick-up event, prepared by Emma, Meredith, and our wonderful guests and friends from State Bird Provisions. We like these people; they have brought together an army of dedicated cooks who prepare dim-sum-type dishes for their diners in San Francisco.
As always, the union of friends, food, wine and the smaragdine hills surrounding us this May reminded us why we are here, and why the rhythmic signals sent out to us are cause for celebration.
