SCRIBE Weekend on the Puget Sound at Captain Whidbey

The SVS enjoyed sunshine, exceptional food and the celebration of new and old friendships at Captain Whidbey! Kelly Mariani and Joshua McFadden collaborated on a full weekend of meals that highlighted the bounty of the Pacific Northwest, including oysters from the Puget Sound, and locally raised lamb. Matt Ahern, our Wine Captain extraordinaire, kept the wines of the spring release flowing well into the evenings. Highlights of the weekend included an extended late-night campfire hang on Saturday night, and a surprise engagement of two longtime members! Looking forward to our next shared weekend adventure.
